Online Proofing

One of the challenges with design for print is the proofing stage. Thankfully, with the Internet, proofing documents is a simple matter of PDF (Portable Document Format) exchange.

Proofs are sent either via e-mail or stored on our website with a link for you to download the document. Changes can then be marked by yourself on the PDF (you will need a complete version of Adobe Acrobat for this, version 6 or higher).

Some users prefer to go traditional and print the PDF out to their desktop printer and make the changes on that and send the proof back via post. You can achieve this with the free Adobe Acrobat reader.

For more advanced users, a feature of Acrobat is 'Connect'. Visit this link to find out more...

This image shows a user marking changes to a PDF. The document is typically saved and returned to us for making any alt's, or for approval. WE MUST RECEIVE FORMAL APPROVAL, EITHER BY E-MAIL OR POST WITH AN ENCLOSURE OF THE 'APPROVED DOCUMENT(S)'.
