As you'll see from the links under Web Feature Options to the left, there are many considerations when thinking about a website. Giving visitors options such as commenting, file directories, etc., shows you what's possible. Note, in most cases, the examples shown include minimal information.

For web sites we use the trusted Open Source foundation called Joomla! (or other Content Management System of your choice). Joomla! provides the basis on which we can tailor a site to your needs. Joomla is a database-type technology, where all of the related content you (or we) input, is stored in a central database. Database sites are superior to HTML-only sites, as more easily adding features, changing the overall look and being more secure are just some of the benefits.

Joomla! also allows you to administer the site, and adding or changing content is as easy as logging into a control panel and publishing articles, as below:

Business Directories
An advanced directory system where as a web site owner you can have a categorised listing of businesses. You can also offer to sell placement in the listing for any amount you require.

Commenting
Provides visitors with the option of commenting on articles and giving valuable feedback. Features such as only providing feedback on certain categories on your site, and monitoring comments before they're approved are available.

File Databases
Useful for providing a central place where files can be sorted, supplied, and with options for your visitors to upload/share files. 

Flash
Flash is a technology developed by Adobe, and offers Web users a rich media experience where users can enjoy varied media content, such as audio, video, presentations, and games, etc. from virtually all Web browsers. Flash was originally developed in the late 80's and is one of the top technologies. From a customers perspective and those thinking about employing Flash in their site, one thing to note is that it is relatively expensive, meaning that there can be some considerable time involved in developing Flash related material, and in particular Flash-based websites. All the games shown via the Games link were done in Flash.

Forums
Used on sites to provide users or customers a meeting place to share ideas. There are many commercial and open-source forum options. The one shown is the market-leading phpBB forum software, in use on more than 1Million sites worldwide. The visual look and feel can be tailored to your site.

Galleries
Online image galleries are available. These are useful for photographers wishing to showcase their talents.

Games
Offers some typical 80's type games such as Pacman and Asteroids. Games are useful for sites that like to offer their visitors some light-hearted entertainment, and come back for more choices. The games option can be customised with literally thousands of games to add.

Link Directories
Here you can provide related links which your visitors may find useful. Bookmarks can be categorised, sorted alphabetically, etc., with commenting and ratings provided.

Store
Online stores are many and varied. The one shown gives you the options to list products by Sections and Categories, and to highlight top rated and purchased products. Depending on your budget, stores can be simple or very complex. Data input, i.e. your products, is a high consideration, meaning that you should seriously think about training an employee to input your products into the online store, and their future maintenance of the store. There are many trainers available worldwide for the store option we provide, so onsite training is possible.
